Join the Parade!
Join us on Saturday, September 24th at 2:00 pm for the 14th Peterborough Pride Parade as we celebrate our diversity, our passion and our pride!
The theme for Peterborough Pride 2016 is “Love Wins”. “Love Wins” means different things to each of us. It suggests that whatever happens, if we focus on Love, which is important to everyone, people will make the right choices and positive change is inevitable over time. That said, it is open to your interpretation, make it your own. We invite you to consider this as you plan your parade participation and floats.
Pride Kick-off starts with the pre-Parade activities at 1:30 pm at City Hall and the parade starts at 2pm!
Download all the details about how to participate in the parade and the Registration Form and Waiver Package HERE
Groups (with or without floats) must complete and submit the Registration Form and Waiver included in the package.
Individuals are welcome to march in the parade and do not have to be part of a registered group. If you don’t wish to be in the parade, please join the spectators along George St and make the parade participants welcome!
The parade route starts from City Hall (500 George Street N) and runs south on George Street and turns east at Sherbrooke Street onto Water Street and swings north to end at Millennium Park on the east side of Water Street. Come join us for the parade and the “Pride in the Park” festivities in the park until 6pm!
