Friday September 14th
Pride Day Proclamation Signing and Pride Flag Raising! @ 12:30pm*
Gather in front of City Hall at 12:30pm to witness signing of the Pride Day Proclamation by Mayor Daryll Bennett and raising of the Pride Flag!
Saturday September 15th
PFLAG Pre-Parade Brunch @ 11am*
Brunch hosted by Joyce Barrett and Dianne McKay of PFLAG Peterborough
Everyone is welcome. Come out and meet new and old friends from the community before the parade!
The brunch starts at 11am at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, corner of Water and Murray Streets in Peterborough, (enter side door) MAP
This is right across the street from the parade starting point.
They are delighted to provide food. Donations will be gratefully accepted.

Everyone Loves a Pride Parade! activities start @ 1:30pm
Where: Peterborough City Hall, 500 George St. N. with activities starting at 1:30pm (including reading of the Pride Proclamation) and the parade at 2pm
Bring a friend, the family, yourself and most of all – your pride! Don’t miss this awesome opportunity to be out and proud in your own community!
Reading of the Proclamation and flag raising at City Hall will be followed by the 10th annual Peterborough Pride Parade. It’s all about you (and us) so lets not be afraid to show our spirit!

Pride in the Park – 3pm to 6pm
Where: Del Crary Park (At the east end of Rink Street at the Little Lake band shell)
After the Parade, join us in the park for:
- DJ Jungle Jen spinning family friendly tunes to help you celebrate
- Information booths from agencies that support the queer community!
- Food and a beer garden!
- Youth activities and more…..

actOUT Show and Dance – starting @ 8pm
Where: The Market Hall, Enter from Charlotte Street east of George Street – MAP link
When: Doors open 7pm, Show starting at 8pm, DJ Dance to follow.
All ages event (wrist band policy in effect, proof of age of majority required to drink)
Cost: $10 or pwyc $5 to $20 (all-evening access)
Tickets available at Market Hall door starting at 7pm on the night
Here is the entertainment lineup so far:
- Deb Pearce, comic and queer media darling, will bring her fun and frolic to the role of MC/host for the night BIO
- Vintage drag at its best from Sean and Kevin
- Feature performance by Lucas Silveira of the Cliks BIO and SAMPLES
- Madge Enthat and Divalious will dazzle us with their musical magnificance!
- The PyroFlys will bring a bit of the “big top” to the Hall www.pyroflys.com
- DJ Lady Coleco, from Out Lounge & Eatery in Oshawa, will spin the tunes that will have you hoppin’ all night long! SAMPLES

Dress it up. Take it out. Strut your stuff. Peterborough Pride comes but once a year, and that’s a darn good reason to whoop-it-up at the official Pride Show and Dance.

Pride Worship Service @ 10am*
The Unitarian Fellowship of Peterborough invites everyone to join them for a worship celebration of “Pride for the Past, Pride for the Future.” The fellowship is located at 775 Weller St in Peterborough. Join us for this learning and talking circle where we will discuss the intersections of sexuality, gender and race alongside examining ethnic, racial and cross-cultural inclusions and representation in LGBTQQI2SAP communities and Pride celebrations on Turtle Island (North America).
Everyone welcome! We appreciate the contributions that individuals from marginalized communities bring to the discussion and invite Indigenous peoples, people of colour, members of ethnic and religious communities, immigrants and newcomers to attend.

Boarding starts at 5:45 with 6pm launch time at Liftlock Riverboat Cruises dock at Peterborough Marina (east end of Rink Street)
Tickets: $50 each
The cruise runs from 6 to 8pm and include a turkey dinner with all the trimmings catered by Franz’s Butcher Shop and Catering.
A vegetarian option is available and should be ordered when purchasing tickets.
