Pride Worship Service*
St Andrew’s United Church invites everyone to kick off Pride Week by joining us for worship Sep 19 at 11:00. Come sing and “SHOUT” out your joy and wonder at the diversity and richness of creation. The Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life*
At Millennium Park. Registration begins at 6:00 pm and the Walk will start at 7:15 pm.
PARN’s Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life is fun for the whole family, with a beautiful walk by the river, with space to remember our losses and celebrate our commitment to HIV/AIDS prevention and care.

Everyone Loves a Pride Parade! @ 2pm sharp
Where: Peterborough City Hall, 500 George St. N.
Bring a friend, the family, yourself and most of all – your pride! Don’t miss this awesome opportunity to be out and proud in your own community!
Reading of the Proclamation at City Hall will be followed by the 8th annual Peterborough Pride Parade. It’s all about you (and us) so lets not be afraid to show our spirit!

Community Carnival (3pm to 5pm)
Where: Millenium Park (east end of King Street)
After the Parade, join us in the park for live music and performances, food and a beer tent!
There will also be a children’s area, local artisans and information booths from agencies that support the queer community!

Pride Follies and Dance
- Where: The Trasheteria – 123 Simcoe Street, Peterborough
- 9pm to 10pm – Live performances by dynamic singer/songwriter Dinah Thorpe, Bollywood gender performer Sheesha YaDil, and the Peterborough Poetry Slam Team!
- 10pm to 2am – Dance to hoppin tunes from DJs Parker Bowles and Hot Rod!
- AGE OF MAJORITY EVENT (proof of age required)
- $3 per person (all-evening access) at the door
- No advanced tickets
Dress it up. Take it out. Strut your stuff. Peterborough Pride comes but once a year, and that’s a darn good reason to whoop-it-up at the official Pride Show and Dance. More details to come shortly…..

Black Honey Pride Brunch @ 10am to 3pm *
Black Honey @ 221 Hunter Street West
Lisa Dixon and the Sunday Brunch Crew will be cooking up delicious crepes and waffles and serving fair trade coffee to coax you back to life after your Pride evening escapades! A % of the proceeds will be donated to Pride. Reservations Accepted.
Hike (stroll really!) @ 2 pm
starting at Millennium Park.Meet at the picnic table behind the Silver Bean in Millennium Park MAP at 2pm.
We have a few routes to choose from depending on who shows up and how energetic they are! Count on a 1 hour walk through East City parks (wear your flats dear this is no place for heels!). Dress for the weather please. Who knows what wildlife we will see…
